Obituary for Gladys Louise Reeser (Gilliam)
Gladys Louise Reeser – age 74 of Maynardville, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, July 20, 2018. She was of the Baptist faith. Gladys was a multi-talented person and a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Sonny” Reeser; parents, Bobby and Gladys Gilliam; daughter, Anna Louise King; twin sisters, Brenda and Linda; and brother, Bobby Lee Gilliam. She is survived by daughters, Barbara King and Kim Allen; sons, Robert “Spanky” Reeser, George “Pete” King and Jimmy Warren; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; sister, Shirley (David) Hurst; brothers, Lon Gilliam, Alvin Gilliam and Jessie (Susie) Gilliam; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2018 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow with Reverend Charlie Reynolds officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery, Knoxville for an 11:00 a.m. interment service.
