Curtis Lee McCurry – age 79 of Luttrell went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 13, 2018. Curtis was a retired employee of the Knox County School System.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mossie (Sweet) McCurry; parents, George McCurry, Sr. and Edith McCurry; brothers, John, Clarence, Billy, Tom and George McCurry, Jr. Curtis is survived by his loving family, Jerry McCurry, Michelle Cheatham, Jeff and Emma McCurry, Cindy Stafford, Judy Rainey and Frank Dockery; granddaughter and husband, Stephanie and Eric Yap; grandsons, Jeffery McCurry and David Smith; a host of nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Mary McCurry, Mary Ann (Camper) McCurry and Orthie McCoy; brothers-in-law, Bill Hopson and Browlow Sweet; and special friends, Bobby Sweet and Bill Hopson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will follow with Reverend Tim Inklebarger and Reverend Robert McCurry officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to Big Barren Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. interment service.
