Obituary for Glen Wayne Yadon
Glen Wayne Yadon of Luttrell was born on October 29, 1954 and went to be with Jesus on October 15, 2018 peacefully in his sleep. Glen was a member of Nave Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He loved big! He had a heart of gold, never met a stranger and would help anyone that he could.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Belvia Yadon; daughter, Christy Mashall Yadon; sisters, Inez Poore and Louise Bailey; mother-in-law, Loretha O’Mary; sister-in-law, Shirley Henderson; and very special aunt Trula Buckner. Glen is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia Yadon; daughter, Shawnna (Glenn) Burkhart; son, Glen (Melissa) Yadon; grandchildren, Megan, Emily, Jacob, Kaitlin, Porter, Ethan, Raylyn, Piper, Yoveli and Elis; sister, Wanda Cole; brothers, Fred (Sue) Yadon, James (Joann) Yadon, Leon Yadon and Virgil (Wanda) Yadon; sister-in-law, Gail (Wayne) Mynatt; brother-in-law, Dereck (Alicia) O’Mary; father-in-law, Johnnie O’Mary; loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Delbert and Betty Hooks, Herbie and Louise Sharp and Mikey Meltabarger.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2018 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will follow with Reverend Paul Carter officiating.
